Having queued for hours before the gates opened to ensure pole position by the stage, racegoers and fans poured onto Epsom Downs Racecourse last night for a highly anticipated live performance by pop sensations JLS.
The four boys sang and showcased their impressive dance routines to a sell-out crowd on the fittingly beautiful evening.
The excitement on the ground and on the hill was more than enough to quash the effects of the evening chill.
A string of girls set up camp at the front of the stage five hours prior to the concert and the screams intensified as the crowd awaited JLS on stage.
The boys performed a selection of their chart-topping hits including Beat Again, One Shot and Everybody in Love, as well as material from their number one debut album.
The concert delighted fans who were able to enjoy a summer performance from these popular award winners, months ahead of the band’s Arena Tour in December.
The hysteria of JLS will be followed next Thursda, July 29, by a night of Madness – the fifth and final Epsom Live! concert.
As one of Britain’s most successful chart bands in music history, celebrating more than 30 top-20 singles including It Must Be Love, My Girl and One Step Beyond, Suggs and the boys will complete Epsom’s summer season in style.
Tickets for the Queen’s Stand and Duchess’s Stand are £33, which includes the racing and concert.
