Croydon community group to host film night at Matthews Yard

A community group is to host a film night this weekend.
The Power of Community, a short film about how Cuban people came together to survive a fuel and food shortage, will screen at Matthews Yard off Surrey Street on Sunday February 17.
The film will begin at 7pm.
The event is being held by Croydon Transition Town, a network that supports community and environmental projects.
Entrance is free but any donations will be accepted in support of Thornton Heath Recreation Ground Community Garden.
