A farmers market may become a regular feature in Teddington after a successful one-off Christmas event.
About 3,000 shoppers walked through the gates of Teddington Memorial Hospital car park for the festive market on Sunday, November 25.
Children enjoyed pony rides and families tucked into tasty treats including toffee apples, Christmas puddings and gingerbread.
Director of London’s Farmers’ Markets Mark Handley said: “It went very well. On the day all the stalls probably sold out within an hour left to go.
“They weren’t expecting such a good response. We got very positive feedback.”
Mr Handley said customers took part in a survey about what they might like to see at the market, which will be taken into consideration when the group decide if the market will be a permanent Teddington fixture.
