    I see on the front page of your sister paper, Kingston Guardian, a picture of the war memorial in New Malden. It says New Malden enjoyed its biggest-ever armed forces turnout.

    So the Tory Trendy Nick Booth has met Ken Livingstone - bad luck, Ken! Crime, including violent crime, has reduced considerably since Booth's Tory party was in power 10 years ago, although you wouldn't think so reading the Tory press and this cockeyed article. Booth obviously is not in the least interested in the official crime statistics recently produced by the Metropolitan Police.
