New Children's Centre opens in Wallington

A new Sure Start Children’s Centre in Wallington has opened to provide support to young families.

The large purpose-built base at Amy Johnson Primary School, Mollison Drive, contains brand new facilities and brings the day care nursery and children’s centre together under one roof.

Activities at the centre include music and dance sessions, baby massage, dad and kids arts and crafts, child development classes and money management classes.

Councillor Ruth Dombey, deputy leader of Sutton Council said: “This new building will make a big difference for local families. Children’s Centres play a very important part in the community and I am sure that these new facilities will be well used.”
