Police gave a dog owner a talking to after she left her pet pooches inside a parked car in Kingston during the hot weather this afternoon.
Officers were called to reports of dogs in distress inside a parked vehicle in Fife Road at about 2.15pm today.
A Kingston police spokeswoman said: “Officers attended and gave the driver words of advice after it was discovered that she had left the animals in the vehicle for around 10 minutes with only a window slightly ajar.
“The dogs were subsequently deemed as safe and well.”
