It is promising to be a hot one in south London and Surrey this weekend - so how will you be spending your time in the sun?

Will you be lounging around in one of the two Royal Parks, Bushy or Richmond?

Perhaps you plan to soak up the rays down by the River Thames at Kingston, Putney, Richmond or Twickenham.

Or maybe you'll enjoy a walk along Epsom Downs or through South Norwood Country Park, before heading out to watch Arsenal take on Hull in this afternoon's FA Cup Final.

In Nonsuch Park, which borders Stoneleigh and Cheam, a British Military Fitness group went through their paces, while dogwalking and nordic walking was also on the agenda for some.

And in Wallington, Omoniyi Giwa sent us this picture (below) of herself with friends James and Elliot relaxing in the beer garden of the Duke's Head pub.

Meanwhile, the Joyce family - dad Seamus, mum Louise and brothers James and Alexander, enjoyed some tree climbing in Richmond Park.
